About Us

V.L.A.D. Outreach CIC is a community-driven initiative focused on supporting some of society's most marginalised and vulnerable groups. We reach out to those who are often overlooked or underserved, including gamers, individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), older and bedbound people, the homeless, those affected by addiction, and refugees. While our primary focus is on these hard-to-reach communities, our services are open to everyone in need of support.

At V.L.A.D. Outreach, we believe that mental healthcare should be accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstances. Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centred support that is tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

Our services include a range of evidence-based therapies, alongside peer-mentoring and psychological support, all aimed at empowering individuals to manage their mental health and well-being.

Everything we provide is free or donation-based, ensuring that cost will never be a barrier to accessing support. The first 6 sessions are free or donation-based, before a multidisciplinary team evaluates circumstances to create an optional bespoke care plan which can extend support for another 6 weeks, addressing specific needs for a fixed donation of £50.

Our services are online, walk-and-talk and face-to-face as either home visits or at a neutral therapeutic space.

We will soon offer a wider range of services, including 24/7 crisis support via text, webchat, phone, and email, as well as in-person drop-in sessions.

We are committed to creating a welcoming, non-judgemental space where everyone, regardless of their background or challenges, can find the help they need. Whether someone seeks immediate support or long-term guidance, V.L.A.D. Outreach will be there for them—whenever they need us.

Join us in building a compassionate community that supports mental health, encourages personal growth, and promotes resilience.

Origin Story

V.L.A.D. Outreach CIC was born from a deep sense of loss and the desire to make a difference in the lives of others. The organisation is named in memory of Vladimir, a young man who tragically passed away at the age of 17. His family, devastated by his death, felt that Vladimir had fallen through the cracks of the mental health system, unable to find the support he needed. They recognised that, like so many others, he had faced a struggle with loneliness and isolation, and was ultimately drawn into harmful online spaces that compounded his sense of hopelessness.

In response to this heart-breaking experience, Vladimir’s family founded V.L.A.D. Outreach CIC with the mission to offer a lifeline to others who may be feeling lost or unsupported. The organisation was created to ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone, and to provide a space where individuals can find the help, understanding, and connection they need. V.L.A.D. Outreach is driven by a commitment to reach those who are most in need, especially those who may feel unseen, unheard, or forgotten.

Through this legacy, Vladimir’s family hopes to create a community of support and hope, where people in crisis can always find someone to listen, and where everyone can feel safe, valued, and understood.
